TALENT SEARCH!!! FOR THE 35TH ANNUAL GLENVILLE COMMUNITY
FESTIVAL AND PARADE.

If you are interesting in performing during the 35th Annual Glenville Community Festival and Parade, you must audition.  You do not need to pre-register just come to the Cory United Methodist Church, 1117 East 105th Street, 2nd Floor Auditorium. On May 5th, or May 12th.  The auditions will occur from 12 noon to 3:00pm.

We recommend, if you have pre-recorded tracks, bring those with you on the day of the auditions.  For questions, please contact Demetrius Trotter at (216) 322-4710.

On August 11, 2012, the 35th Annual Glenville Festival and Parade will be held at the Sam Miller Park on E. 88th and St. Clair Avenue. We will be operating three stages with entertainment running all day. In addition there will be dancing in the street. If you are a line dance instructor, we need your talent. Captn Mark Wood Lakeside Biography

Lakeside was formed out of the city of Dayton, Ohio.  Their true sound comes from the unique voice of musical director and lead singer Mark Wood.

As lead singer of Lakeside Mark Wood voice carried Lakeside sound to all the far corner’s of the planet.  Lakeside is a R&B, Funk, Dance and Ballad Band. 

Lakeside has so many hits, such as “It’s All The Way Live,”  “I Need You,” “Raid,” “Fantastic Voyage,” “Shot Of Love,”  “Something About That Woman” and so many more hits.

Lakeside has toured with all the great bands.  Appeared on national television to many times to count and have performed all over the globe.

Mark Wood the lead voice of Lakeside had support from an outstanding band. However, music lovers and critics will agree, Mark Wood voice and leadership propelled Lakeside straight to the top of the music charts. 

Mark Wood Lakeside is one of the most requested bands to perform to this date.

LAKESIDE BAND WILL PERFORM AT 6:30 PM

This year’s event will headline some of Cleveland’s greatest entertainers in the area of Jazz, Blues, Reggae, R&B and Gospel.

The 2012 Glenville Community Festival and Parade has been touted as one of the best community festivals in the City of Cleveland. Children and youth can enjoy “Kids World” with free pony rides, and inflatables. Seniors will be served free hot lunch from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. in “Seniors World” while enjoying the entertainment at the Pavilion on the Gardenview Circle Stage.

 

This year’s event will headline National Recording Group Lakeside will be the  act for the 2012 Glenville Community Festival (GCF) on August 11, 2012 and some of Cleveland’s  greatest entertainers in the area of Jazz, Blues, R&B and Gospel.

Course
Start at Sam Miller Park (East Blvd. & St. Clair Ave) through historic Rockefeller Park and back. Street parking available.
 
Awards (Runners ONLY)
Each race participant will receive a door prize, snack and goodie bag.

Pre-registration: $15 per participant / $10 per Ward 8 residence (limited scholarships available)
