The Glenville Community Foundation, a non profit, was founded by a group of concerned citizens and Jeffrey Johnson, Cleveland Councilman Ward 8. The Glenville Community Foundation will continue the tradition of the Glenville Festival started in 1977 by the former Mayor Michael R. White.  The purpose of the festival is for families (old & new) business owners, and leader of the Glenville community to come together and celebrate its rich history and heritage as the one and only “Gold Coast of Cleveland”. Glenville has a wide array of diverse activities for our residents that include a variety of health, education and economic empowerment programs and services.  In addition, The Glenville Community Festival will sponsor its 3rd Annual 5k Run/Walk.
